Lowryders should go from seed-harvest in around 8 weeks.
So the answers to your questions is:
1. They dont have a veg period nor do they require 12/12 light to flower they are recommended for 18/6 light for thier life. Lowryders also cant be cloned.
2. No need they only grow to a ft tall or less and depending how good you are your yield could be very low.

Here is a group of pics of the life of an earlyAF Lowryder that was topped(FIM) and LST'd just after 2 weeks when it AF'd. It was done in 55 days.
