would it be possible to fabricate a scrubber into that.

My fellow grower, anything is possible.
Anything+5 is possible if you own a Dremel or a similar tool.
Make a plan, and build it... modify as needed.
Modify until it works very good... or excellent, if you strive for that.
Don't be discouraged if you have to pull everything apart and "start from scratch".
