Post copies of letters and notes.
If the people will lead the leaders will follow.

CONGRESS CONTACTS STATE POSITIONS LEGALIZE
Probably common knowledge, but just a fun fact...
(Dr.) Rep. Ron Paul (physician) actually co-authored the State's Right to Medical Marijuana Act, which was introduced to the House last year. It would decriminalize the use of marijuana on a national level when used for medicinal purposes. Moreover, he is in support of the generalized deriminalization of the herb alltogether. He's actually a Libertarian, but runs as a Republican. Sounds like my kind of doctor. If I ever move to dist. 14, he's got my vote. :smokin:

Howdy,
I have a link that might interest y'all: http://www.mpp.org/TX/ ,it talks about bills that we're trying to git passed in Texas, both of which, would certainly help my case.
My 'trial' is scheduled for April 6 and I'm kinda waiting on the outcome of that, before I join up with MPP and Texans for Medical Marijuana,as well as NORML,the D/FW chapter.
Hmm.wouldn't it be cool,if I could subpoena Dr. Paul ?
Have a good one !

I found out yesterday, that my other court-date,for a bad check from 11 years ago,is on the same day in Abilene,at 8:30 am and my poss charge date,is at 9 am. Abilene is almost 90 miles away,so even if I hitch a ride on an F-16,I still couldn't make it in time...lol. Obviously, one of em's gonna have to be rescheduled..when it rains..it pours !

Dang man, you are in the trenches of legal crapola for sure....
I wish you the best in the upcoming drama. I know it's going to be nothing but b.s. thrown at you, but hang in there.
You'd think these people have much more serious business to deal with than a simple possession charge. That should be no charge at all in my opinion, but at the MOST, it should be a very, very tiny fine like $50....no more than that....and not show up on your record at all unless you have multiple convictions. Someday the morons we keep sending to "represent" us will actually start doing what we send them to Austin and Washington for and stop bullying decent folks and stop creating this huge industry of jails, prisons, and rehab centers for people who choose a little smoke in the evening to relax instead of several gin and tonics and cigarettes.
Be sure to keep us posted on how things go. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Have a great day.
Onward!

Howdy onward,
I hear ya man..thanx for yer kind words and support. Everything hinges on just how hard they want to throw the book at me,for instance, community service that disregards my disability. I will be warning my so-called attorney, that if they disregard my disability, and I require more surgey as a result of injury, that I will sue the county and all parties involved, for millions of dollars. Heck-maybe I should beg them to disregard my disabilities,I could use the money:thumbsup: I should know alot more, after my meeting with the lawyer,on Monday..I'll let y'all know what's up.
Have a good one...:stoned:
