The stoners wine review

Having quit my meds (antidepressants and mood stabilisers) for roughly 3 months now, I have finally realised that all the crap thats in those tablets is out of my system.
So, 3.35am GMT, I decide I want to get pissed, seeing as I havent got drunk in bloody ages - an adverse side effect of my tablets was that if I got hammered, my liver would fuck up. Also, after just a few units, I would puke it all up. Yummy.
Theres some gorgeous Rosé wine upstairs, but its in my parents room and theyre asleep. So, I had to settle for either a 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon (red), or a bottle of champagne. Ive opted for the Sauvignon; saving the champagne for later if I dont fall asleep first.

So, the review...
Cork came out pretty easily. Smells like... plum and wine. Nice red colour in the glass. Smells a bit like shit in the glass; smelt nicer on the cork. Pretty bland.

Tastes shit, gets you pissed. 5 stars for me :thumbsup:

I can't drink red wine to get drunk. It sits in my stomach like acid. I prefer something white if that is the goal... like a nice cheap Chardonnay from Australia. The Little Penguin makes a good one.
