My Setup...kinda

this is kinda what im thinking the closet is 7 ft high, 7ft 8in wide and about 2 ft 6in deep. haha this is a picture i made kinda to show what i was thinking of doing, warning look at this picture high you need you imagination. the white is the lights as you know....i was just thinking to move the shelf down. if anyone eles has an idea for this space let me know thanks. also tell me what you think of my idea i guess:dance:

I don't know if you should even put a middle shelf in there.. can you measure that entire area?

What are you doing as far as lighting goes? HPS could lead to heating problems in a smaller area like that.

I assume you're thinking flouros?

its a large closet, i have a 70W HPS, but im looking into getting a MH light also. i have will have fans and also AC in it. grim would you mind talking to me on aim? ( i cant show in it a picture but the closet actually goes behind the wall on each side about 2+ feet.

Well Im growing a Lowryder in my closet with a 600w HPS, and Ive had to take a shelf out to move the light up because of heat probs. It was at 2ft, but now its at 3ft, and the heat is fine as long as my window is open.
You also need to take into account that the plants will grow upwards (obviously), so theres nowhere near enough room there, unless you grow lowryders - and even then you might be hard pressed for space.

well would you suggest i lower the self to mount the lights on, then just grow all 8 on the ground, and as they grow move the self up?

Herb can grow from anything to a couple of feet tall, up to 6 foot. It just depends on the strain, when you look at the seeds on the net (www.everyonedoesit.com is a good place to buy - cheap - and they also do bloody loads of seeds) they will tell you the percentage of THC, how high they grow, how easy/hard it is etc. Lowryders only grow to a maximum of 2 foot, and thats in rare circumstances. Ive got a diary in this section, havent updated in a week or so but shes not much taller than the last set of pics show her. With 8 lows, you can expect a harvest of around 2-3 ounces easy.
And that sounds like a class idea (moving the lights as they grow). See if you can get a light on the side of them while theyre budding aswell, the buds will form more compact and give a slightly bigger yield.
