There is no need for superthrive after the plant is done with the early vegetation cycle. By this time the root structure should be fine with out it.

Yes, fine without it. Also, it'd be best to have flushed the soil before inducing flowering -- Superthrive hinders flowering, it slows it down a lot. You wouldn't want to turn up with a plant that's flowering for more than fifteen weeks. Imagine trying to flower a pure Sativa and giving it all that SuperThrive without flushing.

never heard about it hindering anything but it's just not needed unless you are transplanting or have other stress related problems. it's definitely something not needed on a regular basis on otherwise healthy plants. besides, the shit's damn expensive!

It's not that expensive. And SuperThrive's sole purpose isn't just to relieve stress on a plant, it can even feminize a plant, insuring you have a female when it's time to flower. I've had up to five plants at a time that I germinated from seed with SuperThrive, even gave it to them during their feedings. I flushed the soil a week before I decided it would be time to flower. When it came time for each plant to show it's sex, all five were female.

50 bucks/quart is expensive to me...and seriously, don't you think if it really worked as a "feminizer" we all would be using it by now when planting seed? it's been around for decades and almost every grower i know uses it, but only for transplanting and other stress...

You don't need fifty bucks for a quart, dude. All you need is ten for a four ounce bottle --- one - two drop(s) treats a gallon in this business. Information, contrary to popular belief, travels slow due to one reason --- human error. Human error in that it's the individual that fails to realize it's potential, this information and any other information for that matter, as an option in their own daily lives. You can take this or leave it, it's your decision. I'm just posting my experiences with this product, and when used in moderation, has shown me it's worth the money I spent. Whether you believe it's an effective feminizing product or not isn't of any concern to me --- all I know is I've been blessed with nothing but females, save the few times I -didn't- use SuperThrive.

Wow, that's really interesting. I'm going to try it kush over. These seeds have already sprouted and have not opened the cotyledon yet. Hope I'm not too late. Thanks for the info. Out of ten seeds, I was blessed with 3 females.
