So, I executed 3 male plants today. I now have one plant left. She is definately female. I tried to make a video of the weed removal but the light was craptacular.

You can't add lumens!

Hey gin, I would say sorry bout the males, but it looks like you had WAY too much fun desroying them! haha

Just wanted to comment on the lumen discussion. You were correct that lumens are additive. If you have three bulbs that emit 10,000 lumens, then you have 30,000 lumens. Good job adding more lights, your plants are thankful!

Watts, on the other hand, are not additive. Three 100w bulbs are not equal to one 300w bulb. The 300w bulb has a greater light intensity (penetrating power).

About where the buds form.... Those branches that are angled upwards and have new growth (kinda like the top of the plant)... those will form buds. The branches that have big fan leaves, they wont form buds. But they are equally important since the create the energy for the buds.

Your wrong, you can't add lumens.. You just get more lumens on one place on your plants..

You're wrong, I can. How do you suspect we all calculate lumens per square foot? You add up the lumens from all your lights and divide by the area of the room.

You're right that if the lumens are coming from multiple lights, you can arrange the lights to hit all parts of the plant, which is nice.
