spring break @ home smoke

Okay, this is going to take awhile to explain because im high as balls. But bare with.

I'm home from college for spring break, brought a tiny bit back with me. Been smoking every night since saturday. Parents don't know i smoke, and don't really want them to find out so i usually wait till around 11 or midnight, and do it with my window open, and a towel over the heater vent, and in front of the door. It always stinks cause i roll J's and dont really have a fan, but i just keep my door closed all night and i'm fine.

Tonight was the last night's worth of stuff i had left so i rolled it, and figured i'd just open my window and go outside and smoke it next to my house, so i put on a hoodie, some slippers, get my J, clip, lighter... and im set for a calm chill smoke that i dont have to worry about my parents smelling it. I open the window and blinds and climb out. I goto close the window from the outside and it slides down and i hear a click.

FUCK. FUCK. FUCK.

My parents installed new windows in our whole house while i was at college. I found out these windows have this safety that the window wont open more then like 3 inches. I try shoving my arm through but its too far to turn the safety off, then i try to figure where i left my keys at in my room, but cant reach them either. So im locked out of my house, its about 12:30, i have my bedroom door propped from the inside. Front door is locked, other bedroom window is locked. So i sit back on the patio and realizing im fucked, smoke my J. Then it starts raining. Now it starts pouring, and im wondering if anything can get any worse.

Finally i get back up, and go back to my window. I stand there for awhile realizing how fucked of a situation it would be to call my parents and ask to be let in. I sit back down in the grass and just stare at the window for awhile, while its pouring, since im high and at least want to enjoy it. Its amuses me for awhile.

Finally i get up and eventually I figure that the top window pane pulls down, but only like 3 inches. Then i find out that the top window pane pushes in 90 degrees, so you can clean them from the inside? So i start pushing them in and my blinds fall and crash to the ground. I finally get the window bent, and lean in, not putting too much weight on the window pane, and get onto my bed. I push it back in place but it doesnt stay. Something is messed up with it, but when the window is locked it looks fine. Ill figure it out tomorrow...

So then i had to screw up the blinds that i pulled out. Changed into warm dry clothes and now im listening to incubus and writing this. Just a crazy 3 hour part of my life, But it was so worth it. Fuck new windows too.

haha you handled that situation better than I would have. Even if I was sober I still would have broken a window or something.

Lol that sucks so much balls... but yeah if it was warm enough to rain here and I got stuck outside I think I would just sit outside and enjoy it.

Damn that sucks, I hate buzz-kills like that. Like one time I was smoking outside when my sister pulled in the driveway, so I'm like "fuck" and ran back inside. No big deal, but it started the paranoia.

Atleast you got through it without getting caught, I have no clue what I would have done.

haha, that is a funny story, but my main concern would have been waking my parents with that crash of the blinds. I'm assuming they didn't hear a thing.

And it's nice to see another person that enjoys a soothing smoke outside where the smell won't reach my mom. God, I love college.

i usually do the same thing when smoking at home, cept i pull a chair up next to my window, open the window and stick my head out to blow smoke.
