Around here a straight gram weighs 1.5, but usually you can buy 1.8-2.1 grams anytime. It depends on the dealer.

You shouldn't even bother with dimes...Get an ounce and you get so much more with your money, its worth saving it because at 27ish grams then you can easily get high 27 times by yourself, assuming its decent-quality.

Get a scale if you can, then you don't have to worry about getting ripped off as long as you know prices.
