Tempting Fate ................
Hello Dave
I honestly thought they weren't going to anything at the begining with the leaves going "rusty", but all they needed was a change of compost.
As for putting them in bigger buckets, they would have been ok but I thought I'd give them a little treat
Anyway Dave I've recently given them a little test again just to try and get some idea of what to expect, just wiped a ciggy in the resin. I have absolutely no doubt at all these will be the most potent I've ever grown, even just a wipe of fresh resin hit home hard. So when the buds are harvested and dried, well I'm looking forward to it
Be few more weeks though yet
Quantity wise, I'm looking at an average grow which is good enough for me

nice work mand. That looks like alot of green to me :} I got some questions if u dont mind.
Do u not believe in mylar or some reflective surface? or mabye just a money thing? I mean, do u think it will effect ur yield alot?
Also is that a large spider web of some kind to the upper left of the picture?
If so, regular spiders dont hurt plants? or do they eat some unwanted insects?

Hello Bob
, I know I always tell people I'm very good at growing leaves but not so hot with the buds
.
I did have my son paint another outbuilding out in white paint last year to give it some reflective quality but when it come to moving the growroom we found out that the electrics weren't working in there. I keep meaning to get someone to fix them but I still haven't got around to it yet.
As for this growroom, I've never bothered to get it painted or lined with reflective material, it's just one of those things I keep meaning to do but never get round to it .
When I say I'm a lazy grower, I really am honestly.
Oh yes, I've seen the spiders web and I've seen the spider (it's gigantic)........ I'm not very keen on spiders so it's a case of I'll leave it alone and just hope it does the same for me
, I always leave the door open a bit just in case I have to make a quick exit.
Spiders are very good to have in there, they will eat all the other bugs and things, but it still gives me the creeps.

Hi Mand,
Looking good and your macro shot you posted in the Grow Lounge looks pretty good too! Glad you got the camera figured out.
"I always tell people I'm very good at growing leaves but not so hot with the buds"
I can almost bet you that if you let these plants go as long as they needed to go based on trichs and not the pistals/hairs or just how they look that you'd have some huge buds and I bet twice as much when done. But I know you're low on stash so I betcha, a bazillion dollars, they they get hacked before their time.Which is fine. Not hammerin' ya Mand. Just flappin my lips.
LOVE YA!
Marc

Wow, runty has become amazing. The buds look nice and it should turn out excellent. I would just leave the spider be, it could help with a possible pest problem. Keep it up.
Happy Toking :rasta:

Hello Marc
, Oh dear I'm so "hit and miss" with the camera, I really don't know whats going to turn out
.
To be honest Marc I'm in no rush, and I promise to leave them, well untill I think the time is right. The buds are there but the veggitation is pretty thick so the light is not getting through all that well.
Apart from the little problem at the begining this is a much more relaxed grow, it's an average type one much more what I'm used too.
I'm planning to do the next one a little different, try and create a small bush affair. I've got ten femminised Orange Bud seeds, so I'm going to just grow five, keep them low, pinch once when quite small let them go a bit and then pinch again. With only five in there I should have the room to let them spread a little.
Anyway Marc, back to this grow, the seed company say eight weeks flowering but I think prehaps more like nine or ten will be needed.
By the way Marc, things are very busy here at the moment, my daughter and her partner have just bought a new house, they got it cheap but it's a bit "run down" so I'm helping all I can because her baby is due in October and it's all panic stations to get things ready, well liveable at least
Hello kush, Runty is certainly a strange looking one that's for sure. She does have buds but they are all tightly against the main stem.
I suspect that she take longer than the other ones to reach harvest, also she will be terrible to trim down as well because she is so tightly "packed together".
Oh the spider will stay there Kush, I can promise I'm not going anywhere near it
Hello Buffalo and thankyou, I've only got 400 watts I'm affraid. It's done quite well though it will be eight years old this October and I'm on my second MH bulb and third HPS bulb. So you can say I've had my moneys worth out of it.
The height ? ................. Well that's a bit of a balancing act really. I would guess about up to a yard. I want it as close as I can but I have to try and get the light to spread over all the growing area. Also I tend to move the plants around every few days so they all get a turn directly under the light.
I'll add a pic so you can see.
Hello sjacobs and thankyou too, I always say that growing is easy, well it is untill a problem crops up
.
Honestly love, if I can grow then anyone can and that's the truth.
Hello BobIt's looking like an average one, I never weigh it but we are talking about a few good ounces.
I would weigh it this time just to see, I had a really good set of kitchen scales that would measure ounces and grams, but my son decided to see how hard he could press on them, of course he broke them ............. but it's ok he's only twenty three years old
Thakyou guys ......................... love mand xxx
