Goth is a stupid highschool fad that likes to think it is a unique subculture. Its a little safe haven for kids without a group until they mature enough to realize that the make up looks pretty stupid on their face.

Hippies had a goal, they wanted to spread peace and awareness (even if some were posers) Goths just sit around be depressed, doesn't sound very fun.

I have alot of friends who happen to be goth I don't understand how you could ahte an entire group of people espeacially since most of them aren't dickheads. And hangout with people because of there personality not how popular they are. But i don't like there music taste.

To the most recent poster, we don't hate goths because of the way the look, we hate them because they changed their personality to fit into a group.

well ppl i was just browsing the boards and i couldnt help but notice how much 90% of the stoners here hate goths well i am goth and i quite frankly cant see why ........... have we done anything to YOU personally? have i? i see no reason to hate an entire sub-culture for the frivilous and spontaneous acts of a few un named ppl why must the general populataion hate us so? dont get me wrong im not trying the old stereotypical "whoa is me" goth attitude im just asking constructive questions and seeking constructive answers
for instance ppl say the hate us for the clothes and makeup we wear but not all of us wear it i admit i wear eyeliner but this doesnt make me evil or satanic so what buisness is it of John Q. Publics if i should so choose to wear such materials? cmon ppllets spark a healthy debate or something

I personally think Goth is pretty fucking neat! I wouldn't personally dress or present myself in such a manner, but thats just me. I think Gothic sub-culture is very interesting, and Goth Chicks lock fucking hot! The only thing I don't like is when some people start saying they are vampires, just a touch delusional there, and dangerous.

jocks are worse, all my freinds, and the big mass of stoners at my school all hate jocks, they all hang out together in the college cafe, while we all mass on the hill outside, and everywhere.
...them with their stripe shirts and socks pulled right up and gay looking dyed blonde hair.
they think they are cool, but dont releise how many people dispise them.

im not a goth, i dont wear makeup and shit, i wear the odd cradle of filth shirt, and have a wardrobe full of metal shirts, and wear a cuff but only cause im a pure metal head. actually im into deathmetal more, and i love gothic music, but that doesnt mean i have to wear black all day everyday, and cover my face in corpse paint! people stop me in the street and say what a wicked shirt. damn right!

I'm not sure wether I agree or not... I can't understand wtf you're saying. But I like the bit about hanging out with people because of their personality and not their culture or religion or popularity. Cause doing that other thing is gay...
