noone has the US's back, it makes me sad to think there are some people who believe the US is a free country and that the Iraq war was for freedom or their own protection.

And what happens if Iran aquires nuclear weapons and hmm.... useses them? You would have to be a fool not to think Iran's leader is a total nutcase. Do you realize what he is trying to do? He himself declared that God (Allah) appointed him the "usher" per se of the end times. Thats the end of the Earth, that is. During one of his speaches he some of his followers claimed to see a heavenly glow emmiting from him. He believes the Al Mahadi, the 12th Imam, prophet of Allah, Mohammad (these are all his titles, AKA the dude in the danish cartoons) is to come in no less then 2 years. If you read the muslim scripture, the 12th Imam is about nothing but destruction! Destruction to the infidels, which is everyone who isn't muslim! His ultimate goal is peace they say, but this can only be achived through a one world government, and a one world religion (muslim from his point of view). These radical muslims are getting out of controle and I don't know why more people don't see it. It's all fine and dandy for you if you are willing to become full blown muslim though, but knowing a lot of you it wouldn't be easy. Now, don't get me wronge. I'm only stating the clear intentions of Iran's president, I'm not saying the 12th Imam is in fact coming. But, I think all this would be enough to declare him crazy, in the sence he wants everyone in the world to convert or die. Give him nukes? No way! Its just as bad as Hamas or Al Qaeda obtaining nukes.

Now, as far as the UK backing us up... you gotta think about benefit here. These are people with countries to run, it would be wreckless to rush in to help someone whos bound to lose (this is assuming Russia or China is involved, China clearly being the more deadly one though) If Russia is involved, Maybe we can expect help from UK but thats maybe. Once everything goes down, I can easily see the UK just remaining mute on the whole situation, and you have to realize. People arn't going to risk the safty of their country if its a hopeless fight.
