The Iran issue is a touchy one... most certainly we are almost at a boiling point. Iran is determined to have "nuclear energy" for the country and insist it is not for the purpose of weapons. While they say this though, the PRESIDENT of Iran keeps with comments about wiping Israel off the map. Their hatred for Israel seems to be incredible so its a REALLY sticky situation. Especially when you got countries like China making billion dollar contracts with Iran for oil at the same time. China already got problems with the US over Tiawan, this will just purpetuate things. Just nuking Iran is really not an option either in that respect. Russia is also intrested in Iran for whatever reasons (probably oil) and even offered alternatives for Iran. Such as having their nuclear facilitys contained in Russia so it would be eaiser to moniter. Since Iran rejected this idea as well, it would seem that their intent is not for energy, but for weapons. This is simply not an option for Israel. If US does not take assertive action within the next couple weeks, or if the UN Sanctions fall through then we can expect at least a US aided Israei attack on critical nuclear facilitys in Iran. From this point on, it's really a watch to see who drops the first bomb...
