i've always felt iran has been the main target since the 1st gulf war and probably much earlier...like the early 80's when they 1st became anti-west, which is why we never left the gulf region back in the early 90's. i mean check out a map of the region...we now have iran totally surrounded! it wouldn't take much at all to boost the people and material needed to move on iran and it also wouldn't surprise me one bit if the draft is brought back again in the near future...

For one, I am a pretty liberal democrat and there is no way in hell I would vote for Hillary in '08. I'm a woman and I don't want to see a woman president, at least not now at this point in time. There is too much shit going on in the world to have a woman take over. And if, by some miraculous cause, she is elected president... I SERIOUSLY doubt legalizing marijuana is at the top of her list. Won't happen.

But back to the Iran thing... our troops are already stretched so thin throughout the world, if the U.S. was planning a full out attack on Iran, they would have to institute the draft, no doubt about it. My ex-boyfriend spent 13 months in Iraq when the war first started over there. They had to keep extending their time over there because they didn't have enough troops to do full rotations or whatever. And the war in Iraq, that won't be over anytime soon.
