Once I smoked a joint in my completley dark room and felt absolutely nothing. Then I turned on a lamp and a few seconds later it hit me. It was like since I could not see anything my brain didn't have anything to appreciate or something. I don't know I was smoking crap weed at the time. Perhaps Ill try it again tonight.

I think it's just that the less outward things you focus on, the more you focus on your high.
When it's light out, your focus is on the world around you, so you don't feel so high.
When it's cold out, your focus is on how cold it is, so you don't feel so high.
That said, I love blazing outside in the winter. You finish up and don't feel that high, but then you go back inside and BAM, it hits you like a brick wall!

Yeah I notice the sun bugs the shit outta me when Im baked if I dont have sun glasses..and now I can't go outside in the sun anytime without sunglasses or I can't open my eyes because they will start watering like mad.
