DALLAS AREA- Need employment ASAP.. HELP!
What you said sounds like a great place to start. If you have any interest in doing A/C work, or any other type of service work, you should consider applying with one of the local companies to train as an apprentice. There are many service industry businesses that would love to have an apprentice to train, who could later become a full time, fully licensed technician.
Do some research in the phone book, on yellowpages.com, and other sources to find local businesses that do work you would like to train to do yourself. You can make decent money as an apprentice, and get invaluable training that would lead to a very lucrative job.
I don't know your financial situation, or your family's situation, but there are several technical schools locally and in Oklahoma that can train you to make a very nice living in the service industry. I know of one that I have personally researched, and it is in a field that is wide open and there is a HUGE demand for trained technicians. That school is very affordable and is only three weeks long to get the basics to help you get a job.
Just the fact that you are a hard worker, willing to follow company guidelines, and eager to provide good service to represent your company in a good light would open doors to you that could lead to a very nice salary and living.
Feel free to email me at my name at hushmail dot com if you are interested. If not, I wish you the best of luck!!! Be sure to keep us posted and let us know if you find a good job.
Have a great day!
Onward!
