act in peaceful protest by boycotting against Bush. Something that would actually get his attention too... like boycotting purchasing gas a specific day of the week... it doesn't sound like much but if a large portion of the population did this it would really affect the oil business to the extent that Bush would not appreciate it.
We could tell the media we won't stop until the Bush Administation releases videos of Katrina conferences (to see what really went on b/c the gov't denies alot), does a proper investigation of 9/11 (fire is not a suitable cause of 3 buildings going down to say the least), and other things such as torturing prisoners in abu-grahb (sp?) nd guantanamo.
for those that don't think it's a good idea please share, but i truly am sick of what i am seeing on the news every goddamn day and want it changedxblackdogx Reviewed by xblackdogx on . how many would... act in peaceful protest by boycotting against Bush. Boycotts don't work for corporations, so they're certainly not going to work for politicians. Do you really think the administration is going to ruin its credibility by releasing incriminating evidence just to get a few people to buy some more gas? Even if your boycott got to the point where politicians were aware of it and considering your demands, what makes you think the Bill O'Reillys and Jerry Fallwells wouldn't launch a much more successful "Buy Lots Of Gas" campaign?

i understand all of those aspects, but the major point was to show the politicians that we aren't being fooled by their lies. there are so many americans that don't believe everything the government tells them and their is no outlet for them to communicate these things. and yes, o' reilly and other deusches would do that. The media has come to the point were all that is shown on air is spoonfed the stories from the gov't and the ceo's of clear channel, viacomm, etc are all enforcing these procedures due to unknown reasons (probably benefits obviously).
