Types Of Soil
ok ive searched and i get lots of diff types to use but can any one tell me were in the UK to get good soil and fert and the nutes and what kind of prices they are please as ive never had to buy the stuff before lol
so far i have a
cabinet thats 1 metter 5 inches tall 2 and a half foot wide and a foot and a half deph
150 watt HPS light
for vent im using 6 spread out pc fans running on a spare power supply i had around
and ive got on the way 10x Four Way seeds from Nirvana
now all i need is for peoples opinion on soil fert and were to get it
im new so dont be to harsh if i sound like i aint got a clue(as i dont)

Just look up your local nursery for a good peated pail of soil with vermaculite and perlite mixed in. I would get atleast 80% peat. Coco fiber is good to mix in aswell for about 10% or so. It has calcium, and growth hormones such as zeaton. As far as nutes go all I can say is organic. um um good

Sounds liek a good set up... and i did the same with the fans, but i used a Play Station 2 fan and ran it off a 9 volt battery
I wish I didn\'t flame people and then ask to be banned because I miss this place

I don't know how easy it is to find elsewhere, but I have nothing but good to say about " Kellogg's AMEND " ... use it straight out of the bag, maybe add a bit of vermiculite if desired, not necessary ... outstanding for tomatoes, too ... :thumbsup: ... :smokin:

i used bog standard potting peat and perlite a 50/50 mix of them both per pot and the results speak for them selfs i post a few pics for all to see

Peat is not a renewable source. Check out Coir. It is some great stuff.
