The LIE: It is claimed that cannabis is desperately needed for medicine.
The TRUTH: Medicines have to be pure single substances. Cannabis contains four hundred chemicals. Pure THC from cannabis is not so effective as current medicines for many conditions.

Well, they gave up on finding medicine for my injury, with the last doctor saying, "I tell my other patients, who smoke marijuana for their pain, just to keep it on the down low. Other than that, there's nothing else I can do."

Early on in treatment, after testing my nerves, the neurologist's last option was a pill, later linked to suicides. We all know Marijuana's tendency to promote suicide.

Plus, I remember hearing that most of the chemicals, in Cannabis, are not in the smokeable parts. Or, maybe, it was the cancerous chemicals? I can't remember, I could find it, later.

It is a fat soluble drug (unlike alcohol or heroin, cocaine, ecstasy etc) which means it is absorbed by the fatty tissues in the body (the brain is one third fat) and lingers for weeks or months depending on the amount smoked) leaving the user in a permanently stoned condition. Resulting in road accidents and deterioration of the brain.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah ahahahaha. If it leaves us in a permanently stoned condition, then why do we smoke more than once every few weeks/months? Not to mention that most of the other information there is bullcrap.

Cannabis is often claimed to be non-addictive. This is not true. Physical withdrawal symptoms are mild because cannabis cannot be withdrawn from the body rapidly; the body has it's lingering supply stored in fat tissue. Saturated fat tissue may not loose the cannabinoids for 9 months or more.

THC saturated fatty tissues act like time release capsules - steadily releasing THC into the blood and keeping the cannabis smoker in the state of continual sedation.

i feel ya....if only an eccentric millionaire somewhere would put up the money to spread the truth about cannabis. I've actually joked about this with my friends, saying that if I ever won the lottery that the first thing I would do is satorize (make fun of you big stoners out there) the "My Anti-Drug" commercials on tv. I always thought that something like "Cannabis - My AntiDrug" would be a popular one.

The cannabis stuff was total bullshit but they weren't very biased about LSD. I've argued with multiple D.A.R.E. officers who tried to tell me LSD was addictive. I'm suprised they weren't that biased for LSD. But the claims about cannabis were pretty wild.
