looking for growroom ideas

I plan on growing as many plants as possible in a small plastic kiddy pool. i will probably build a small room into my garage, so i can make the room as big as i need.
so here are my questions:
1)how much should i space out my plants
2)how much light would i need
3)what would be a good strain to start growing with. (not lowrider)

1)how much should i space out my plants

First, I'd like to be the first to ask; Is that kiddy pool going to be holding individually potted plants? Wouldn't want any plants choking each other for nutrients, would we? Besides, if you potted them individually and took a little time to get female clones from your plants, you could make a killer fucking SOG with a good sized space. With a SOG, you can have plants side by side, as close as you can get them, and as many as you can fit!

2)how much light would i need

Well, depends on the space. If you're going with the SOG, you can have anywhere in the neighborhood of twenty-five to thirty plants under a single 1000w. If you're just looking for five or ten plants, I'd go with a 600w HID and let them have a little space. But, then again, it really depends on the size of room you're planning on building.

3)what would be a good strain to start growing with.

LoL. J/King. To start growing with, as in your first grow? I'd go a combination of some common managable indoor favorites. If I had a room dedicated to growing I'd have all early finishing Indicas -- Aurora Indica, Northern Lights, Shiva, Afghani, Blue Mystic, Hindu Kush -- shit, maybe a White Rhino even though it isn't full Indica.

Scream, There was a grow on the forum by TRANOBLE... if you can find it you should look at it.. It was amazing.. and it was done in a giant shallow (6 inches deep) wooden box..
