I want to play COD2 but dont feel like payin for it lol.I played the demo and its bad ass.Been trin to download it but cant find a real one.LOLblack is awesome.balls to the wall shooter.just got to the next level.when i get a game i start on easy beat it,move on to normal beat it,and so on.that way it doesnt get boaring as quick.

Oh, i really just said it sucks because i assumed you were not aware of how dope half life 2 or any of those other games i mentioned are. Because compared to those, Black falls kinda short.

FPS are a boring unoriginal genre, most companies arnt doing much in the way of innovation in the FPS department... IMO COD was the first game to be a really good WWII fps even though there was already like 60... i admit the games before it were good but nothing new or great, all the FPS of the world are pretty much identical except with different skins... actually this holds true by the simple fact that half of them all use the same game engine... sure it gives some room for innovation but nothing fabulous

Hal life 2 is a great game but isnt really anything too spectacular... the only FPS that can hold my attention after beating it on the hardest mode are online games

I understand what you're saying Bedake, but that's exactly why some FPS stand out. Don't forget that there are a bunch of sub-genres, so saying the FPS genre is unoriginal is too vague. Now I'm going to go onto urban dictionary to find out what the hell IMO is because it's getting as annoying as lol and then I'm going to play BF1942 because even though it was released 4 years ago, it's still the best (unless you prefer modern combat, in which case that would be BF2)

I used to play a ton of Counter Strike and UT2k4, but I don't game much anymore. I picked up FEAR a few weeks back and it's very good so far. The best PC FPS I've played in quite a while is HL2 though. I'm probably not going to get back into gaming until I upgrade my PC again about a year after whenever Vista is released.

I just finished playing Battlefield 1942: 50 points, 70 kills, 28 deaths, Silver Medal in a Clan Server full of, you guessed it, clan members. Yay for me. I didn't get the gold: someone else got 67 points and 69 kills and he had more points because I killed 10 of my team mates, haha.

Best FPS' are FEAR, Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike, Call of Duty 1 and 2, Ghost Recon (the new one Advanced Warfighter looks like its gonna be the shit!), and the Rainbow Six series if you like tactical shooters.
