Transpiration : The loss of water into the atmosphere through the stomata of plants as an essential physiological process.

Physiological: Characteristic of an organism's health or normal function.

Rhizosphere: The soil zone immediately surrounding plant roots, which is modified by the increased number of microorganisms (eg Rhizobia) that live there, in association with plant roots.

LEAF FEEDING ADVICE NEEDED PLZ i have been feeding my plants with canna vega straight in to the soil and heard that leaf feeding with a spray gun type bottle is ment to be better could anyone please help me on this as i am in 2 minds wether to start leaf feeding or not what i need to know is can you leaf feed with the lights on if you have a fan blowing towards the plant and how many times i should leaf feed the plant thanks guys :) Rating: 5

iow, he's saying it's more effective to feed through the roots rather than foliar feed...which i agree. i never foliar feed either and know of no serious growers who do...especially under larger lights. i might spray em down once in a while when they get dusty but otherwise save the sprayer for clones.

ah nice one judging by what you have all said i will stick to soil feeding cheers for taking the time to help me on this one and thanks for taking the time to define some of the words in ya posts karmaxul i must say i dident understand what some of them terms ment so thanks for that
