LEAF FEEDING ADVICE NEEDED PLZ
I do not folair feed as leaves are not roots and ferts can burn them. If you choose to spray them remember droplets of water intensify light and water alone can burn the leaf. I would not use over 2ppm but thats just me. Neem oil is straight.

O sorry I meant two ppm of added ions. Since leafs do not take in nutes the same as roots I do not beleive in folair myself. Ya my tap water is 110 microsiemens.

The leaves are like our skin if you go swimming you dont soak in the water or nutes in the water. The only opening is the stoma on the underside of the leaf. The stoma spit out water via transperation and take in CO2. You could kind of put a slight oil on them if you know what your doing but I dont want ions burning my leaves. I just dont see how it would benefit the plant if the leaves can not absorb it. Besides nutes such as organic nitrogen has to be converted into inorganic form by micro-organisms to be absorbed by the roots. The rhizoshpere plays a vital role in nutrient uptake.

karma..
my monkey friend...
you may have to define 3-6 words from everyone of your posts...
i suspect there are others beside myself that could learn a lot from you.. if you brought us along slowly.. you are dropping many new words and concepts into each of your answers... maybe just drop 1 new word or concept per post and then define it for us...
I am making the presuppostion that you know that you are doing this.. thus I have not pointed out any specific examples....

LEAF FEEDING ADVICE NEEDED PLZ
Back in the day when overgrow was around, we didn't have to ask these questions... we just looked it up in the FAQ

A easy way that I look up defintions is go to google and type define: (word)
and it gives you the top 10 definitions. I will try to explain myself better in the future.
Ion: salt molecule
folair: spraying of the leaves with nutes
microsemiens: a more acurate way to mearsure tds or ion content then ppm (parts per millionth) that most of the world outside of the United States uses.
