SNIP OR NOT??
My plant is 10 days into 12/12 and is growing rapidly whist showing she's a female... The problem I have is she's around 35" and is getting too big for my cupboard and is about 20" away from a 400w hps.. Can i cut her top off, or will this lower my yeild???

SNIP OR NOT??
you can train it to lay sideways by weighing the top down with slender heavy objects(several large screwdrivers and twist ties)and the lamp is too high above the plant,so it'll keep stretching for it at that height,a 400WT should only be about 12" above it,next time induce photoperiod when it's about 8-12",or it will overgrow your space, you might also use a flowering trellis to grow it scrog style, but at 3' it might grow another foot....bonbon

SNIP OR NOT??
since you know it's a fem,you can take cuttings from her and try again, this way you'll use the space more effectively and have more plants and probably more yeild, you can induce photoperiod at about 6",and get single stalk colas about 1-1/2 FT tall, put them in 6" pots, depending on the size of the space you can grow about a dozen this way....bonbon
