I read what the developer said. It doesn't change anything. Even if the PS3 is nothing special, it's still being released much later than the 360 and will be better. It doesn't need to live up to the hype to be the best console. PS2 was the worst console. It sold best. Xbox was the best console. It sold worst. Now, the PS3 not only has the precedence of the PS2 being the best seller, but it will also be the most capable. The 360 is seling worse than the original. Also, the person who said that one should get the 360 for online use, SONY is said to be working on an Xbox live competitor. Pete rock, refusing to debate can show two things about a person: That person is not able to argue because he isn't knowledgeable on the topic, and that that person didn't give a crap. We argue because Video Gaming is a big part of some people's lives and care about the future of it. If for nothing else, I can at least respect anyone who can make a point for the opposing side (not "Xbox kickz ballz") because they are interested in the future of this business.

Two years from now is when we'll honestly be able to say which one is better.

I was lucky and actually got one for Christmas. And i love it. Ive only had a couple problems. After 4 days the thing broke and i had to send it in to microsoft. They sent me a new one about 6 days later at no charge. The new one kept freezing up and i had to send it in again. They sent me another new one and it has been working fine since. I have gotten great joy out of it and i think its a great system.

for fuck sake, i didnt ask for everyones opinion...i definitly didnt want this to turn into an argument on which is better. baker, ignore them. wherever you may be, africa, school, the bathroom, whenever you bring up xbox/ps2, there will be someone saying that the other console is better. i would rather have a ps2, but if i had the money for a 360, i would get off my ass in a second and go and buy one! have you played c.o.d 2? i played it at my friends house on a huge hdtv, pitch black room, with surround sound and all the works, and I felt like I was in a war, haha. anyways, i bet ya most of the people bad mouthing the 360 are jealous, even if its subconsiously. gogogo good times
