I've met people with the same attitude as you. Thre one I see a few times a year is my step-brother: He's such an ass-hole. I know no one cares but I'll tell a short story. Last Christmas, "Santa" got my dad a table tennis table. I ask my brother if he needs help setting it up. He says no. I hear Kenny G. on the radio and my annoying ass sister talking with my retarded stepmom. I hate who I'm surrounded by and I hate Kenny G. so I go to the PC room and browse around on an online music store for a while (there's no tv). I come out to find that the table has been set up and some of my relatives have been playing for a while, so I try to join in, but my step-brother starts to lecture me because I was on the PC instead of socializing. I'm not going to get into it, but I get pissed and go back inside. Half-hour later I go back out and chill on a lawn-chair and converse with my stepmom. I mention someone who was interviewed on the Daily Show and he immediately starts an argument with me about how CC is filth and anyone who has ever been a part of it (even though O'reilly and other people he looks up to has been interviewed) is filth. I get pissed and go back inside. If no one has read my entire post, just read what's in bold.

The moral of this story is that people play with electronics instead of socialize because they hate being lectured by better-than-though assholes, putting up with shitty music and retarded people. You are an intolerant asshole who only sees one side on this issue. Video games may be a waste of time, but talking to people like you is no more worthwhile.
