What is Your Favorite Hydro Growing Method

I was wandering what everbodies favorite growing method was. Like SCROG, SOG, SuperCropping. Or any other methods that there is. I am looking for the best method for pretty good yields and potency. Or just the funnest way to grow.

I have hydroton, but it floats, so I'm checking out perlite. I haven't decided what I like best. Stil trying out different mediums. I do like lava rocks, cause they don't float.

Low Stress Training, High Stress Training, and FIM/Topping have to be my favorite tools in the cannabis cultivation arsenal. Deep Water Cultivation has to be my favorite hydroponic method. Bonzai, since I like growing in short places, for soil/organics. I do it all under a 150 watt HPS [ sometimes I toss some 42 watt CFLs in during the last couple weeks of flowering, maybe some 25 watt daylight spectrum CFLs during vegetative to balance the spectrum out ]. Gets me a couple ounces, give or take, out of each plant.

So how exactley would you setup a SOG grow for about 30-35 plants. That is what I would like to do with a DWC with the recirculating buckets. Should I have about 4 5 gallon buckets that will have the females in them and the rest 3.5 gallon buckets. Or should I just go with Super cropping and use all 5 gallon buckets.

You're going to have all these plants in individual resevoirs?

I changed my mind I would like to have that many plants using the FIM/Topping methods. I plan on using the bucket recirculating system yes. If any body has better Ideas please post. I need all the help I can get. But I plan on have two seperate systems. With a 50 gallon res supplying water and nutes to 16 plants. Then I will have a 600 watt switchable ballast light over each system. Or should I just use 400 watts. Any help is great!!!!!!!!

i would reccomend an ebb and flow tray in rockwool cubes if you plan on going SOG, i mean why bother to set up a root system if your constantly going to be harvesting and replanting clones, just throw away the rockwool and start over plus it works great for your fresh cut clones, also you shouldnt really worry about how many plants cause with sog your just smashing as many together as possible

also for the light you should have 50 watts per square ft and i beleive thats at optimum, a hydro store will tell you like 20-30 watts, i use a 400 watt switchable ballast for a 6sqft room and can get a lb out of 4 plants
