the price per watt for lights on ebay decreases the higher wattage you get.. i got my 400w hps off ebay for 40 quid but that would be too much for your area. I'd say start with a 150w, get some ventilation and if you feel you can handle the extra heat, sell the 150w on ebay again and gget a 250. easily done but i stress, get a fan - even if its just a PC one

JUst wire em up to a variable adaptor from maplin, thats what I've done in the past when using PC fans for non computer applications.

Switch it to 12V an hey presto.

DAy, You should read up on clones, with 2 plants and a 150watt bulb you may get some nice free weed, but it won't be enough to sustain you as a regular pain killer.

If you have 2 spaces, 1 for veg, one for flowering, the veg one can be pretty small, just1 plant eventually after a bit of selection.

You grow a few plants from seed, and take cuttings/clones, after theese have developed roots then flower them, you will know the sex of all the plants that had the cuttings taken from them that are still in your vegging room.

cut down any male clones and the plants they came from.

Pick the best growing females and take more cuttings, try get space for 4 plants if you can, and put 2 clones in the flowering room, then another 2 about 4 weeks later.

When you harvest the first 2, put 2 ready clones in and start flowering then.

You'll get a more steady supply and cloning saves LOADS of time germinating, and takes off the first few weeks of vegging.

Just keep your favourate plant in the vegging room and keep taking cuttings.

I probably havn't explained it well, but just read read read on the subject , You can only learn more and more.

    Good luck

heh this is very complicated to explain but here goes

basicly when the psu is plugged in even if your pc is OFF there is still power in the psu if you look on some mother boards that have lights this is proven to be true as the light stays on it will only go off if you unplug it so this shows that it has a basic switch inside the psu when u click your power switch it goes on and off all you need to do is emulate this with a small circuit board that acts as the trigger or go into the psu it self and jam the switch so its always on i wouldnt recomend this though to ppl that dont know how to do it as its not easy but if it works then the psu turns on soon as u plug it in and wont turn off till you unplug it might seem crazy to some ppl but i like to invent stuff or make stuff do what I want it to do.

sorry bout my crappy typing again

yeah, to anyone who doesn't know what they're doing, DON'T OPEN YOUR PSU's.

They can store a huge amount of electricity for a long time even after not being used for a while, you need to discharge whatever is stored in the capacitors.

Monitors can hold enough to kill you aswell when opened up.(Unplugged even)

Leave it to people who know what they're doing!

Seems DaY seems to know what he's doin, so thats alright

yea thx jonny i shoulda made the dont do it if you dont know how to bit in capps i used to work as a computer engineer for a good while if u dont want to mess about with the psu the cheap way would be to get an OLD pc dont even need cd-rom hard drive or anything in just the mobo and use it as the switch to start the psu up like a normal pc would alot safer for the person that dont know how to be safe around electric.
