    Flying with Weed

Has anybody had any problems hiding weed in their suitcase when travelling on an airline?

i was going to do the sealed baggy in a shampoo bottle trick.

If they x-ray the luggage could it be spotted - especially since 911 with all the extra security?

I'm going to Hawaii soon and want to bring a small amount.

    Thanks in advance

I would avoid the shoe thing, here in the states, they ask you to take off your shoes sometimes.I would avoid putting in my luggage, they xray that, altho I haven't done alot of travelling,I did get thru on a flight this summer by keeping it on myself, seems like the safest place,as long as you don't trigger the thing you step thru, they don't trouble your person, but they do look closely at your luggage, just put the 1/8 in your undergarments,if you have it in your pocket they might ask you to take stuff out, sounds a bit off,but if you put it somewhere else, like taped to you, then you run the risk of losing it,but if you've got it stashed right,it ain't coming out till you're ready,if you're with other ppl then just go with the flow, don't be nervous would be the best advice too,I thought it was going to be a major ordeal, but remarkably it went really smooth, but that's only my experience, and I would try it again based on it.I think they're more interested in heavy stuff not soft drugs like mj.They want to be there to catch the next terrorist, maybe not the next toker.Least I hope so,good luck. Couldn't do the bra thing, not being massively boobified, now that someone would have noticed LOL

If they ever do think something is up from the x-ray then they dont look for what the x-ray machine picked up in that exact area. They just search the entire bag like they would any other bag they thought might have something in it. When they get to your toiletries bag they will always just open it up and look inside and see toiletries and close it back and put it back. Both times my bag was searched in an airport that happened. I really doubt they'd even inspect toiletry by toiletry, much less open up a bottle of shampoo to see if something was in it. They're not trying to take up too much of your time. If they checked every little thing you could miss your flight.
