Drug Testing Results

I was wondering if there is a thread somewhere already (I looked briefly but didn't find it) on the results of members tests. What I mean is, so many people come here looking for advice and they rarely seem to return to post the results of their tests. Did you pass or fail, get the job or not?

I think it would be interesting to see that in one place. It could potentially be a very positive thread of encouragement to everyone.

I have my test Monday at 1:30. I'm using QF and the lab said that the results would be in by the end of the next day or the morning of the day after that. So basically 36 hours.

I got the results of the "First Check" drug test that I sent to the manufacturer. You know.. you call the phone number and punch in your code and they read the results to you after like 5 days. This sickening sweet voice says, "You have tested positive for marijuana". I was hoping to get the actually numbers.

So.. looks like QF is my only hope anyway. I think I might just go today and get it over with so I can stop worrying about it.

Of course, I'll have to wait the whole weekend for the results anyway I'm sure.. so either way I'll worry! LOL

now all I have to do is wait.

The tester was quick and friendly..was taken right away, had the QF at temp and hidden inside my undies. They asked me to wash my hands, hang up my coat and present photo ID. Then asked me to empty my pockets (which I had nothing in anyway) and lock up my purse in the box outside of the bathroom. Then he put the key in the bathroom with me..(which is GROSS because how many people have peed and not washed their hands and then touched that key?) He told me to fill up the cup to the line, and whatever I did, don't flush the toilet.

I went in and he shut the door.. there was a lock on it but I figured that locking it would just raise suspicion so I left it alone. I peed into the toilet a bit and then poured the QF into the cup. I didn't drop anything which is what I was MOST afraid of. Put the bottle back in the undies.

Then, it hit me. I realized the reason for NOT flushing. I would imagine that they compare the color of the urine in the cup to the color of the urine in the toilet. I had more than enough QF, so I poured a little back into the toilet water to make the colors match more because my own urine was pretty clear. (I'm a big water drinker anyway)

He marked that the temp was between 90 - 100, that the specimen collection was 'single', and marked 10 Panel test. He put most of the urine in vial and had me initial, put it in a plastic baggie to send off to the lab. Then he poured the rest into the toilet and flushed. I washed my hands and got my stuff and I was out of there with the tester wishing me luck on my new job.

Now, I wait.. and yes, this is more nerve wracking than actually using the QF. What if it doesn't come out right?? ::::hyperventilating::::

I asked when the results would be sent to my employer and he said Monday or Tuesday.

I passed!!! The results from the lab were sent to my employer and she told me that everything was A-oKay!

turns out i didnt get tested but i didnt get put on probation either so hellz yeah
