Beef Ramen Noodles Aldente:

1) Approx 3 cups water, enough to cover the noddles is all you really need. High heat

2) As soon as the bubbles start breaking surface (not yet rolling), unbroken noodle square placed in and stireed about until a white foam forms. If noodles are not completely divided continue stirring until you reach that point, usually if you stir well enough the foam forms after they are broken apart well.

3) Heat is turned off and noodles are "fished out" with strainer. Once the strainer has all it can get into a bowl, I carefully pour the pan over the strainer. When 70-80mL of water is left, I dump whatever noodles may have fallen from the pan into my bowl and then dump the rest of the pot in as well. Not a lot of liquid, but enough.

4) Packet of flavoring is added. 1/4 the packet worth of garlic powder and a few good shakes of dried chives are added.

5) Stirred thoroughly. Concentration of flavoring can be changed by leaving less water in the pan.

6) Cleanup is easy as the pan has had only noodles and water in it, and the liquid is less dilute and fit for real men.

7) Three bowls are enjoyed, and then you eat the noodles.
