altagid my ''mother'' sufferes from chronic migraine (serious name) and they also would last a week or so
does your wife have a tens machine? its is a litle machine that has adhesive pads that stick to the back of the head near the neck and it gives small electric shockes to open the blood vesseles in the head by shocking them open wide this allows the blood to flow and headache decreases.

I have a TENS machine as well. It's a lifesaver. When I have a migraine tho, I can't smoke. It makes my head feel like it's gonna explode. I get demerol in a "special form" so I can't throw it up.
