ok heres the deal. ive been smoking for like a year and a half and so far my parents havent found out. they have found lighters in my pants wen my mom washes my clothes and my car smells like "cigar" (from all the blunts) so they kno somethin is up but they really dont mind. i give out certain signals or clues whatever u wanna call them that kinda tells them i enjoy the herb. i listen to madd reggae (my dad got me into it wen i was young so not that big of a deal to them), i always talk about livin in jamaica, i dloaded this movie me and my dad watched about reggae and a lot of smokin goin on in there, and jus random stuff. My sister smokes (she got me into it) and my mom knows she does (mom doesnt really care but shed like her to stop or atleast not smoke that much) anyway the thing is, is that im so eager to let my parents kno i smoke. i jus feel i will live a lot better telling them and maybe they wont mind it, cuz it is safer than alcohol and any other drug. what do you guys think i should do or jus not do anything?? Is there anyway i can let them find out in a safe way so they wont be so surprised and flip out or be mad? help please

yes, take this information and use it. DONT TELL THEM!! keep it a secret and on top of that a very quiet one. i know it seems like theyre cool and they might be, but trust me ull be happier off keeoping it to urself bc theyre stil ur parents and even if theyre cool, they will try to stop u and get u in trouble and everytime u come home every thing will be about weed (did u smoke etc...) besides that theyll be prouder of u and keep giving u money if they do already.:thumbsup:

id say tell them i dont know how sorry but when i was still living with parents i told them i smoked and they didnt mind well my mother did a bit but my dad was fine being tht he smoked skunk every day when i was around but when i was at home after i told them my dad would just share his weed with me when ever i walked in when he was smoking

Tell them. My parents know and don't appreciate it but they don't do anything. They're fine with your sister smoking they'll be fine with you smoking.

I'd probably tell them. My parents are cool though. I have been tripping my balls of in front of my mum and dad before. Its odd because they have never done any drugs. Well apart from my dad doing Ether! lol

i dont see how all you ppl hide it from your parents, i have to smoke in a separate shirt, and always use eyedrops or i get caught.ive smoked an hr before i went home,then sprayed and my dad still smells it. he obviously knows now but i still try to hide it.its the smell that always gets me caught..

dude.....my dad and i were never really close......one day we went for a late night drive and he forgot his lighter for a cig.......i said i have one and pulled out my cig pack.....he was just like yer smokin now.....i was like yea sorry.....he said whatever and shrugged.....i was in the same position as u......it feels alot better when u let them kno.....how old is yer sis....if yer not too far apart then its not a big deal but if shes over 18 and yer not then maybe u should wait......yer parents arent dumasses.......from the cigar smells to the reggae stoner movies, they kno and they not saying anything....sit down with yer dad one night and just be like, have u ever smoked weed befor and just talk about the subject with him....its kinda cool cuz it brought me alot closer to my dad.....and just mention that u haver done it a few times......w/e....worse comes to worse the ground u for a bit but my parents attitude twards life is......they'd rather know up front on what im doing then do it behind their back....u find yer kid smoking weed one night so u ground them.....it doesnt mean there gonna stop.....yer gonna do what u wanna do and they know that....its life......have respect for yer parents and just do what i said if u have the balls to....how old r u...im 16
