I was wondering if there are actually places here in the metroplex where men and women who are past the age of 30 (for some of us, it's a little more past 30 than it is for others, but who's counting, right?) to go hang out with folks our age who share our common recreational activity. I know that we don't want to post it all over the world wide web for all to see, but I sure would like to find a spot where friendly, easy-going people could just enjoy each other's company without a lot of hassles.

I read recently that some of our friends on here got together at some bar in Houston. That sounded like a great opportunity for you guys to meet up with some good folks from the forums.

I'd just love to go listen to good music from the 60's and 70's, or maybe some good blues music, drink some coffee or a few beers, and relax. If any of you know of such a place around DFW, please drop me a line at onwardthroughthefog at hushmail dot com

I sure hope at least a few of us can meet up soon. I've been hoping for that for quite awhile.
