    Types of Highs

I'm sure this has probably been mentioned before, but I'm sure there's lots of new experiences to talk about and I'm much too lazy to hunt for an old thread.

I remember an old strain of weed I had during the summertime gave me the best "kind of high" I've ever had ...it seemed that the basis of my entire mind-set revolved around nostalgia and childhood memory ... I wrote a lot of it down when I was high. It was a really enjoyable glimpse of my childhood and lost memories would keep returning to me. It was as though I was sent back in time and every object and event I witnessed was through my very own 6-7 year old eyes ...I interpreted everything at a less educated level ...it was amazing.

Two strains ago I had a really mind-numbing high after every smoke ...like a vice was over my head. It was a really mind-based high and was also very enjoyable. Lots of solo philosophical trips with this stuff.

Right now I have a really crappy strain (in my opinion). It seems that the high is mostly based in the body, like eating it. I just get relaxed and jelloy. It's still enjoyable ofcourse, but I sure wish I had my summertime weed.

Anyone else had a nostalgia high? Or any other kinds you've had? :rasta:

I think that you have to take into account the enviroment of when your smoking.

    Winter sucks.
Be mild with the mild, shrewd with the crafty, confiding to the honest, rough to the ruffian, and a thunderbolt to the liar. But in all this, never be unmindful of your own dignity.

That could be true, It's definately more hassle to smoke out my window then to just go for a walk around the neighbourhood. Although, I do have some really awesome highs during winter too. I always figured it was the specific type of weed that determined the kind of high, but I really know nothing about it.

I had a nostalgic high when I hadn't smoked for at least ten years. It was very good for me because my cares went away......as if I went back in time. This was very helpful to me because I have a huge stress problem. (close to having a heart attack).

This world will run you ragged. I am now finding my relief and beginning to enjoy my life and everything I have worked so hard for.

i had a nostalgic high many times when i smoke i think what sent me into it was i was eating cereal while sitting on my floor with small towell underneath the bowl incase i made a mess and i remebered doing that when i was a kid at my grandmothers house

one of these days i should get high and visit my grandmother and get her to cook for me and ill pretend im a little kid again and do everything like i used to when i was young like climb on top of her refrigerator and have trouble getting down or hide in the soup cabnet
