Anyone on the weight-loss train?
Yup, I am, but the funny thing is, is not on purpose.
For the last 9months, I have lost 35lbs, and am still losing more. I cut out alcohol out my diet 100%. A bottle of beer contains about 350 calories, per bottle! I don't drink pop much anymore, and if I do, it is Diet. If a person doesn't like Diet, drink some Minute Maid juice, or a drink with much fewer calories, like water.
I longer have a job where I do fuck all, and now have one where I get physical exercise Mon-Fri. If you don't have a job or something that is a good workout, go out and walk, or run, ride a bike. Run up a steep hill 3 or 4 times. I ride my bike to work when I can, so that helps a lot too. I have as well took up some Kickboxing, so every Thurs. night is like a full cardial workout.
I also have cut down on my munching habits. I try and stay to 3 meals a day, and if I do get the munchies, I eat something not so sugary or just a bit of sweets.
The key to losing weight is burn off more calories then you take in. If you want to slim down, cut out cheese, less milk, less soda pop, and no beer. If you want to have some booze, use hard stuff and try to use diet soda. Get a workout and do something productive.
Yeah.

Anyone on the weight-loss train?
Yeah, you got to go through some slight training first.
The way they did it with me, was first I had to drop some pounds by then they just had me practice on bags, jump rope, get in shape and such. They don't want to stick a new person in fighting at first because for one, they could really get hurt. Pulled muscles, untrained eye, you could get very exhausted, very quickly if you're not in shape.
Give it a good few weeks or so and show that you can wreck some ass, but keep your cool if things don't go your way, then you'll be learning stuff in no time. The one thing teachers hate is a sore loser. Someone who starts getting their ass kicked, then lose their temper because of it.
What caught my eye about all of the fighting classes out there, was the shure striker actions of this particular fight. It shows how to take someone down, who could be an attacker, in a blink of an eye. Kickboxing is pure striking. That's why I like it. Short, intense, fighting.
Good luck on that.

there is no such thing as a diet that works, what you need is a lifestyle change, and if its only a few pounds you want to get rid of, leave them there, im sure they are beautiful.

everyone is on a diet of some kind. Some are un really un-healthy diets though. I'm trying to loose some weight, but I'm taking my time with it (so it stays off for a while). I try to workout daily, take my vitamins (gnc megamen is the shit), get lots of sleep, eat regularly and try to eat food made at home and not processed shit and that's about it. That and grilling as much as possible.

I've lost 70 something pounds now. I'll actually be able to take my shirt off in public this summer.
I mostly just drink lots of caffeinated water. Even when I'm not thursty I try to drink alot of it. It keeps me feeling full longer and I get full quicker when I'm eating. Plus I smoke a ton of pot.
Often when I feel hungry I'll just go get stoned instead, and I forget about it for a while. Then when I get the munchies I smoke another bowl and forget about it again.
