Using ground-penetrating radar, scientists recently unearthed the remains of a thatch house, the carbonized bones of two people, and other traces of what they believe is the lost Indonesian civilization that was destroyed by the biggest volcanic eruption in recorded history. I think they've only found radar imaging of the remains buried beneath the two hundred year-old ash.

I remember seeing this on CNN, they are calling it the "pompeii of the east... or west, cant remember which direction it is... but yea thats awesome stuff, imagine a whole civilization to research, id love to be doing that
