Distilled, Co2, or res water?

Just curious

Iâ??m 3 weeks into vegetative state, my plants just got their first set of 5 finger fan leaves, and im feeding them once a day (flood and drain rockwool style)
When feeding my plants I spray them with distilled water,
What are you guys using? Distilled water, Co2 water, or water from the res with nutrients in it?
Is one better than the other? Or is it just preference?

There are foliar spays that you mix from nutrients. I would think they would be better than just water. I don't use them so I can't say any names. Maybe someone will chime in for you.

I, personally, haven't sprayed my plants in... uff... months.

But now that I read this, I feel bad... I'll go spray them right now... with just Brita filtered water.

Do not use res water.

What's good for the roots is not necessarily good for the leaves.

It sounds like you're spraying them a little too often.
Plants take up nutrients through their root system and respirate through their leaves. Much like a human who drinks water on a hot day and sweats it out. They're both replacing lost water. If I'm drinking water in the rain, I don't sweat it out, I just retain the water until I have to pee.

The trick is to keep the plants uptake of nutrients at maximum capacity. If you spray them everyday you not only change the temperature of the plant but you inhibit it's respiration rate.

It is a known fact that a plant can benefit from foiler feeding (although it's debatable how much). You should consider spraying them only once a week with a very VERY light nutrient solution made specifically for foiler feeding. Additionally, I never foiler feed after the buds appear and I spray them one last time with clean (distilled) water one week prior to harvest to wash off dust or whatever.

nutes will burn up your leaves...be careful not to fry them under the lamps...if you spray, It should be well before the lights come on.
