I was a kid once... I did a lot of stupid shit. even as a kid I never would have thought to do something like that. why destroy a piece of history. I remember some fag's I went to school with got drunk one night and went out and knocked over a bunch of headstones and shit... retarded.

one of the real messed up things about them putting up the mall, casino (if it goes through) and just the build up of the area in general is that people are still finding artifacts there all the time. as kids we'd find belt buckles and especially bullets and stuff from the civil war. There is still a lot to be found out there... not just civil war artifacts. There were a lot Indians and stuff like that in the area. we used to find tons of arrow heads and stuff.

I mentioned once before that i used to be a civil war reenactor, and this strikes very close to me, I've had the priveledge of having spent 3 mini vacations there and spent alot of time at Gettysburg doing volunteer work with my roundtable, I painted fences and planted trees in areas that were forested during the 1860's. In fact, im tempted to cancel my spring break trip to Florida and instead go to Gettysburg. I am extremely saddened by this and the Rating: 5
