potsmoking when you've got a cold?

I'm kind of sick at the moment, have nasal congestion and a soar throat.

Will toking help me with these symptoms? I doubt it will make them worse, in fact I seem to remember that in the past it has helped clear out my sinuses a bit.

actually.. smoking weed causes problems such as bronchitis, and i'd say ur pretty vulnerable to it.. i doubt it'll help speedin the healing, but u'll feel great anyway!

i dunno are you sure it causes bronchitis? i thought it was even supposed to help with asthma.

ive had a sore throat and cough. i smoked tonight about 1-2 hours ago and i feel great right now. healthy and calm.

I had a cold and a chest infaction a few weeks ago. I toked up as much as possible and in 2 days my cold and comlpetely gone and so had my chest infection, and i didnt even need anti-biotics.

As for asthma it does help, and will NOT give you bronchitis. It helps asthma sufferers because the THC dialates the bronchi.

Smoke and see if it helps, if it gets worse then stop. As for the sore throat it might help ease the pain.

As far as im concerned, cannabis helps every illness, and get you stoned at the same time.

O and dont take cough syrup and then smoke a bowl. You get real paranoid and real tired which makes your think that you are dying and that makes you even more paranoid till you pass out or say fuck it what ever happends happends

it seems to have worked for pretty good for me.but if you smoke with other people.it will get them sick when your healed and you will just keep all catching the same cold.at least one of the people i smoke with have had a cold.it sucked but it was worth it:rasta:

oh yeah good point. i didnt think of that, definitely dont smoke with other peeps if ur sick---i usually smoke alone so the thought never occurred to me.
