I'm a registered republican,but I'm ready to sign Kinky's petition and kick Perry to the curb. :thumbsup:

Govenor Perry,vetoed the 2 bills we have here in Texas,one for medical need defense and one for decrim,both of which,would have kept me out of the court. I have no idea what's gonna happen to me yet,my trial is set for April 6,I told the judge that I have no choice but to plead not guilty,so that I could git a court-appointed attorney to negotiate the terms of my punishment,as it relates to my disability.

Maybe my troubles are a sign that I need to git off my ass and start doing something to git them 2 bills passed and work on forcing Texas to be compassionate towards those who would benefit from medical marijuana,as well as decriming marijuana for those who want a safer alternative to alcohol.

I checked out the county group listings and the closest to me is in Parker county,maybe I should see about starting one here in Palo Pinto county,although,with my long hair and beard,it may make folks think that we're the 'hippy' party..lol.

I also like the idea of promotining biodiesel and other renewable energy resources,even tho I'm a former roughneck,I would like to see hemp worked into the equation eventually. I know that I probably won't like Kinky's view on gays,but I could try and abide with that. I just know that I'm ready to upset the good ol boy network,especially here,that gives out longer sentences for non-violent marijuana users,than they do to murderers and rapists.

What do y'all say-think we can make a difference ?

Welcome to this here Texas local forum

I don't know what yer 10-20 is(location),but I bet that you are near someone who has the petition to sign for Kinky's bid for govenor. I have a link to Kinky's web-site in one of my above posts,and there's a listing of counties with contacts,that you can check out.

Glad to be here. Im out by wise county and it says they collect votes out in
decatur so thats great! Yeah i agree Rick perry hasent done much for governer. To think of all the taxes we could save by decrimilization.

It is encouraging ! I need to stop being lazy and git busy,first thing on the agenda,is to sign Kinky's petition so we can git him on the ballot. I did not vote in the primaries..I can vote for Kinky in the up-coming election.

Well the website said they have gained lots of support alot of people are convinced he will be on that ballot! March 11 is the final day to sign so if you havent voted in the primarys get out there and sign kinkys petition
