I have heard of petitions going around, but never have actually known anyone who signed one for Kinky.

Do you guys think he's just a whack job who people find funny, but don't take seriously? Or does he actually have some clue on issues such as funding education, securing the border, protecting the gulf ports, improving the infrastructure of the state, etc? I really haven't heard him speak much on serious subjects, just being a good old boy, smoking a big cigar, who is very funny.

Onward, This is a guy just like us.....he made a good life for himself and I think he wants to give something back......that he believes in.

Truth is, you or I could become Governer of the State of Texas. There are advisors for every issue. You just have to make decisions based on what you think is right.

Kinky was never Big Time in the music world, but he has also published some very successful novels. I really like his music, but have not yet read one of his novels.

Just my thoughts.
