I think that after a while you just don't get high like you do when you first started.
Don't take any personal offence, but I think that is bullshit.

When I first started (in 2002), I was forced into it. I was smoking so much I smoked more than the main bloke, who was a serious druggie. We still talk about it now! Anyway it continued like that for a few months then I stopped abruptly as I got fed up of funding them as well as me. I didn't really enjoy it, and all we really did was smoke in fields. And I was smoking huge, pure joints that didn't really have any effect.

Another year was to pass before I had a few tokes of another spliff. It was actually a bad trip, and I passed out.

Few months later, I had a hash joint (though I think it was laced with PCP) and that was the most fucked I'd ever been. I was seeing crazy purple patterns with my eyes closed. Seriously tripping. Only time I've ever hallucinated as well!

That was it for another 6 months, and a friend gave me a highly potent spliff. it was THAT strong I had a few tokes, and nearly passed out. That was when I accidently discovered how great listening to music when high was. man that joint got me high 4 times, and thats when I really started to enjoy it.

Another year was to pass, then I started smoking regularly. I noticed it would take more and more weed to get me high. My first 16th lasted me almost 2 weeks, and I got about 15 spliffs out of it. Proves how little I was putting in to get me high! But I enjoyed it too much and refused to stop. Eighth lasts me 3 days now, and I get much less joints out of it!

Though I have stopped now (through no choice of my own, the fucking dealer is useless, and can't find anyone else) I ain't smoked for 5 days, which is the longest I've been since October. I will be interested to see what happens.

Fuck, I type too much. I could have just said "you really need a break of like 6 months not only for every trace to leave your system, but to also forget about what its like to be high."
