First, I believe the plant "doubles in size" over the course of the entire flowering period, not the first 2 weeks.

Second, rootbound will not cause a plant to die.

It is common for roots to stick out the bottom of the container LONG before it is rootbound, because roots grow down the middle first, and then fill in the sides. Also, I read its good for a plant to become a little rootbound during flowering, because the plant will stop growing roots and put 100% of its energy into flowering. Can anyone verify this, or did I get some bad info?
