DAY 3 AND I HAVE one plant left and it keeps growing straight up it has growin like 4 inches above the soil and has the next shoot with 3 leaves pointing straight up

ok i have been collecting info these last few days and i was wonder if it is a good idea to take clippings from my plant that is 12 days old but is like 3 tiers high and a its first 7 leaf tier... which i also heard is a good time to top it anybody help

Why do you want to clone it? How many clones d'you want?? From a juvenile plant...You could top it and clone the top to live again.

But your best of having more patience if you need to take many clones...wait till the plant's stem starts to produce secondary shoots from the internodes

You're moving too fast for such a young plant...Cloning is a technique used for saving time [among other things]....but you need to have patience before your plant is ready to a mother.....Stress like that MIGHT cause a young plant some problems through shock.

But I've taken clones from young plants that I've topped [once] and had no problems...

The yellowing problem could be due to low nitrogen ..Are you growing in dirt or hydro....What soil are you using ..pH is so important in nutriant uptake!

Gotta know this stuff in advance

and i thought it is too young also but i was told i could prune for a bush instead of a tree
