Oase

I'm setting up a hydro system, but over here there's no rockwool.The only way to get it is to order it over the net.
They do however sell oase, I heard that it's Ok to use if there's no rockwool.
Can I use this stuff in an ebb & flow.
I have been growing in soil for years now, wanna switch to hydro.
Please help.

i've never heardof Oase. but in a pinch you can use gravel, just rinse, boil, rerinse, and use. it's not quite as good as rockwool, but it isnt bad at all.
