go to store or online store, buy hollow point needs, that is if you plan on stretching your ears at all, most people do now. Piercing your ears is about as safe as anything as long as you keep em clean. All you need to keep em clean is piercing solution, not hard at all homie

ok. so what you need to do is find a needle, steralize it with rubbing alcohol, put it through your ear and insert jewlery. the thing is you need to do it fast, i tried piercing my hip and it took me half an hour and i was a bloody mess. after its in, use a pinch of sea salt in a shot glass full of warm water and soak for a good 5 or so minutes each day until you think its good. have fun.

How to give your self a ear ring?

Can we be civil and inteligent about this?

I have both lobes pierced and stretched to 4ga, a 12ga Prince albert (yes that is through my DICK), and a 14ga cartlidge. All self done with no infection, and no blowouts that resulted in keloid scarring.

The "tittie" that you speak of is hard scar tissue known as keloid scarring. It is very hard to get rid off and even when surgically removed can return very easily. It normally results from poorly done piercings with safety pins and stuff.

To properly pierce your ear, first do to ebay and buy presterilized piercing needles. They should come in the sealed packaging and have an indicator that they are indeed sterile.

Then mark the spot and push firmly and steadily. There is no need for ice, the lobe piercing is very basic, and nearly painless. If I can go through cartlidge and my penis with a 12ga needle (think a Capri Sun straw), then you can handle a lobe.

When actually piercing it, have the jewelry in hand and ready to put in. Place the stud into the hollow needle, adn push the whole thing all the way through.

Once you have it in, DONT twist it, this is bad advice and a real piercer will tell you that it is BAD. And no peroxide, the only thing you need is some natural salt and warm water. Mix those two ingredients and soak your ear once or twice daily to loosen the scabbing if there is any, then use a q-tip to remove it.

Twisting simply rips the scabs off and turns them about in your fresh piercing. Think rubbing small grains of sand in an open wound, sound fun? I think not.

If you would like more advice, or anyone would for that matter, talk to me here, or AIM me at PaulCT7, same as my username.

one teaspoon of salt for every one cup of warm water.

Get a needle either 16 or 18 gauge, a regular earring is 18, but 16 is a bit bigger which will make putting a ring thru easier. Steralize the needle in rubbing alcohol or hydro. peroxide. along with the ring you're going to use. I say ring, but I mean stud. Never put a ring in as your first earring or your hole will heal curved and cause a lotta issues in the future. Ice the ear if you're worried about pain. Mark the place you want to pierce, try and keep it atleast 1mm away from the edge incase it decides to migrate (when your body rejects the piercing because of the metal or placement and it basically gets PUSHED from your skin). Use a NON TOXIC marker or felt-tip pen, no bics or anything. You may want someone else to push the needle thru but if you think you can do it, make sure you can do it straight, although its your piercing and a slant or crooked piercing won't harm you, just may look funky. Press the needle thru as fast as you can, it may actually get STUCK towards the end, but that's completely normal when DIY peircing, so don't get discouraged and keep pushing, you may actually hear a "pop" which yes, is your skin actually popping out. If you have a straight needle that doesn't change sizes towards one end of the needle, pull it through and towards the end prepare your earring to follow the end of the needle. If not, remove the needle completely (you may want to leave it in for a little while so your ear gets comfortable with it BUT it will start to be sore and hurt after a few minutes). After removing the needle press the earring through the hole, which may be a little bit difficult but you can eventually do it. If you "lose" the hole, wait atleast a week to try again. Steralize everything as best you can. NEVER hold a flame over metal to steralize it, it doesn't work like you'd expect. NEVER use peroxide or rubbing alcohol on a peircing because it's such a harsh liquid that it actually kills the 'good' germs along with the bad and also ruins the new skin growing. Use a scent-free, colourless soap like Dial. DO NOT overclean it or it will get infected or won't heal.
