Can we be civil and inteligent about this?

I have both lobes pierced and stretched to 4ga, a 12ga Prince albert (yes that is through my DICK), and a 14ga cartlidge. All self done with no infection, and no blowouts that resulted in keloid scarring.

The "tittie" that you speak of is hard scar tissue known as keloid scarring. It is very hard to get rid off and even when surgically removed can return very easily. It normally results from poorly done piercings with safety pins and stuff.

To properly pierce your ear, first do to ebay and buy presterilized piercing needles. They should come in the sealed packaging and have an indicator that they are indeed sterile.

Then mark the spot and push firmly and steadily. There is no need for ice, the lobe piercing is very basic, and nearly painless. If I can go through cartlidge and my penis with a 12ga needle (think a Capri Sun straw), then you can handle a lobe.

When actually piercing it, have the jewelry in hand and ready to put in. Place the stud into the hollow needle, adn push the whole thing all the way through.

Once you have it in, DONT twist it, this is bad advice and a real piercer will tell you that it is BAD. And no peroxide, the only thing you need is some natural salt and warm water. Mix those two ingredients and soak your ear once or twice daily to loosen the scabbing if there is any, then use a q-tip to remove it.

Twisting simply rips the scabs off and turns them about in your fresh piercing. Think rubbing small grains of sand in an open wound, sound fun? I think not.
