I don't really consider myself a socialist, but if we are going to be a tax and spend society, better that money be done to do good, not evil.
Actually, I would prefer a society with very little government...Somewhat like the one the founding fathers set up. Back then it was illegal for the federal government to even fund a road. They certainly could not have conceived the drug war, motorcycle helmet laws, seatbelt laws or any other law that makes something that isn't a crime a crime.

If my memory serves me correct, Farenheit 9/11 was analyzed for any false information and accusations, and this was before the movie ever came out. He wouldn't go, nor would he send his daughters if they were in the service. But he's all for jumping the gun and fighting when he personally has nothing to lose. I think Bush is in a totally different world sometimes. He doesn't ever want to admit when he is wrong or doesn't even seem to understand it sometimes. It doesn't seem like he even understands the average american.
