Learn the history of the region and it becomes obvious that it has been completely screwed over by western powers over the past 150 years. Those people have every right to pissed off. If they weren't they wouldn't be human.
The argument is completely philosophical in nature. If you think that powerful countries have a right to take from smaller ones and impose their culture on whomever they please, than it follows that G.W is a fine Emperor.
